Spiritual, physical, heritage, all can be one’s home.  According to James Hjuka Coulter’s book, “Germanic Heathenry, A Practical Guide,” he says this;
” For the Irminic family, the house and household are both the source and the ‘last bastion’ of true frith, hospitality (in all of its Heathen sense) and that which is good and whole” (11).
Similarly:

Not an absolutely horrible night at work.  I had a chance to talk to my manager about my upcoming sinus surgery and the subsequent recovery.  I told him I don’t mind sitting out a week to heal, but I really didn’t want to sit out the entire two weeks.  He offered some hope that I might not have to sit out the entire two weeks, that he might be able to find some light duty stuff to do.
*brought home a half gallon, well, more like a quart now, of raw fresh milk from a work colleague.

Nice bit of a snowstorm on the way home.  30degF so the roads were wet with a bit of accumulation on the grassy parts.  There was some kind of MAJOR accident at my Kellogg exit on 135, so I had to go on to the 1st and 2nd St exit then circle back.
