I was an emotional wreck at work.  Personal issues at home coupled with scrapping three expensive parts got the best of me.  They say that when you fuck up, fess up, and that’s what I did.  There are many things I put in my journal that can never be posted in the blog because people would get upset.  That’s THE LAST THING I want to do.  When I say “for posterity” that should tell you there are things happening that will not be shared for public consumption.  I place those comments below the end of my journal entry so as not to confuse them with what CAN be placed in my blog, yet open to view if someone reads this journal after I’m gone.  Anyway, I was such a wreck after scraping those parts I stepped outside to have a good cry.  Soon enough my supervisor followed me outside asking if I needed some time off.  I told him I can’t afford that.  His reply was, “But I need you here 100%”.  I took the day off.  I was home before 8AM.

Started making a Bacon Ranch Fried Cabbage per my recipe file:
1 Head cabbage
1/2 lb Cooked bacon (hel, why not more bacon, say, the WHOLE pound?!)
1 Whole white onion
1 Envelope Ranch seasoning mix
2 T. Olive oil

After cooking bacon drain and set aside. 
Chop onions and caramelize in Olive oil. 
Chop cabbage and add to onions, cover and let cook down a bit. 
Add Ranch mix and bacon and continue to cook down to desired doneness
