(Ôstermönd  = Ostara month)

A late night of disappointing soccer/football equates into a sleep-in until sunrise.

Plans: GPRF

I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Picture
AM Elder Rune: Berkana (R): Problems with relating to the feminine, the maternal influence and the feminine mysteries, void of growth and caring, deceit, degradation, immaturity, deterioration,  contamination, needlessly clinging, tough love Mothering, in need of Mothering, missing/ignoring a significant life passage.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

AM Armanen Rune: Kun:
Havamal 150.
A sixth one is mine, if a man wounds me
With the root of a trunk still with  juice;
Then I am unscathed, the man himself is consumed
By the evil with which he threatened me.

That which is existing, defense, reversal of fortune, the polarity of the male/female principle in the Universe, opposing energies, earthly love, as executive power of balancing justice, art, capability, artist, genius, being favored, procreation, the child, force, that which is established, World Tree/the Irminsul/the All, power, generation, ability and artfulness, sensuality, higher consciousness, return.

Interpretation: tough love Mothering (Berkana) leading to a balancing of justice (Kun).

Outcome: It’s a beautifully rain cooled morning.!

Now how in the hel did I fit all that onto one breakfast sandwich; cheese, freshly shredded hash browns, 1/3 lb of turkey breakfast sausage, 2 scrambles eggs on skinny whole-wheat bread.  It was absolutely YUMMY!

Toby and I out for a well behaved, one-mile walk.
Essie with equal time in the front yard.

I’m thinking about changing how I see the Runes a bit.  Rather than dealing with inversion or neutral, I’m contemplating using all forms of Runic issues in an upright Rune.  I think it can be done.  I know of many people who don’t consider inversion.  I think I understand why.

To the corner convenience store for a newspaper.

Off to the Great Plains Ren Fest!!

Bundesliga http://www.bundesliga.com/en/
(home team/away team)
Bremen 1-0 Hamburg
Wolfsburg 1-1 Mainz

It has already started to rain a bit, but what is a spring Ren Fest without rain?  I quickly obligated myself to purchase a huge, wooden Donar’s Malant/Thor’s Hammer.  It literally took my breath away!  It was from a vendor I knew ands trusted.  Then, I got a wild hair and purchased a kilt.  I quickly went home, put it on and came back for the vendor’s approval.  I was comfortable enough in it I finished the Ren Fest in it.

Serious rain clouds and wind moved in.  I hurried back home for Toby.  By the time I made it home the storm was well underway.  I gathered up Toby from the back yard and took him with me to run errands.

Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market
Dillons (my first kilt compliment)
Dillons petrol

McDs for a late lunch
*Sweet tea and triple cheese burger for me
*chicken sandwich for Toby

All fur kids needed some kind of attention today.

Separated recyclables

Started prep work for the next work week.

MLS (Major League Soccer) http://www.mlssoccer.com/
(home team/away team)
Philly 1-2 New England (caught 2nd half on ESPN2)
NYCFC 0-1 Portland

A return trip to Dillons for ham.  Ham is ultimately important around here at breakfast.

It’s a bit chilly out; 50F.

Newspaper time!!!!!!!!!

Shower, bed, nighty-night!
