I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Life is lived at such a price

Armanen Rune Summons:

Havamal 154:
A tenth one I sing, when dangers at sea forces me

To protect my ship from the stormy waves;
The storm I calm down, no matter how billowing the sea,
And I cradle the waves to sleep.

Dangers calmed, protection, challenges eased, comfort/stillness, primal fire, nobles, destruction of physical darkness reborn into spiritual light, confidence, Ing-Frô, the Sun, the path to the Light, will, leadership, all that which is beautiful and Sun-like, change to good, virtues, honor, glory, rewarding work, completion, light, Divine spirit, power contained in light that washes away darkness, wisdom, beauty, virtue, trust, honor, fame, Rune of the initiate, Symbolism of the Lord of the Light-elves that returns home from darkness, Rune of peace and good seasons.
“Respect the primal fire” (List, 56).

Rune Lesson: Control in and of itself calms many dangers.  Trust in any relationship, working together as one unit, allows those involved great confidence.  Trust, control, comfort, protection, are all bywords that work well together today.
<>
1st check on all fur-kids: food, water, litterboxes, shelter.
<>
Outcome: just shy of 8hrs of sleep, one wakeup, and lots of Lily loving.
<>
Wifey has a migraine.
<>
Call into bruzzer asking him NOT to come over because it would prove to be pointless.  In his typical stubbornness, he still might.
<>
Full MEGA breakfast sandwich; two pieces of multigrain toast + cheese + hashbrown patty from frozen (just because the fit so well) + two scrambled eggs.
<>
Lily has been so clingy.  She must know I’m back to work tomorrow.
<>
Well, it’s 11am.  I’m presuming brother took my advice and not coming over.
<>
A small load of laundry
<>
Toby and I out for an early afternoon, 2-block, trust/training walk.  There was not much Toby-prancing today.  He mostly stayed at the “heel” position; slow going.
*cloudy, mildly warm/humid, slight south breeze.
<>
Dug up and transplanted the last of the iris plants that need to be moved.
<>
Note to Self; Toby’s 1:30pm feeding and insulin.
<>
Leftovers from yesterday; brät, potato/kielbasa mixture, steamed cabbage.
<>
Visit at the veterinary was very beneficial.  Besides the fact that Toby got his shot, Dr. made sure to look at his cataracts.  We had an extended chat about Toby’s eventual surgery.
<>
Cold cereal for dinner
<>
Two hours of Ghost Whisperer on Start TV (OTA)
*well hela, I’ll only be able to catch this on weekends or online, now.
<>
Online chat
<>
Dark Shadows on the Decades Channel (OTA)
*oh, that’s just fucking great!  Just as Barnabas Collins is about to be exposed as a vampire, this ends my ability to watch this as I go back to work tomorrow.
<>
Out for my last late evening, 30min, beautifully cool, walk.
<>
Note to Self: Toby’s 12:15am feeding and insulin.
<>
Last check on all fur-kids.
<>
1am nighty night.
