I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me. I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side. I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

Havamal 156.
A twelfth one I sing, when I see through the brush
The hanged one swinging from the hemp;
He climbs down from the trunk, must tell me his tale
When I carve the Runes right.

1st check on all fur-kids
<>
Outcome: good 6 ½ hours of sleep.
<>
Good morning chat with My Sorcha.
<>
WTF? No hot water? Luckily, my neighbor is a plumber, well acquainted with my hot water tank, and he’s very reasonable.
<>
Trip to bank for his money.
<>
Call into My Sorcha.
<>
Pizza Hut for lunch
Since I was in the area, I stopped into Idle Hands to make a piercing appointment for Saturday. It seems they only do walk-ins for that.
<>
Strength training dumbbell routine:
Side bends, 3 sets 7 @ 40lbs
Standing, 3 sets of 7 @ 2/25lbs
- Forearm curls
- Bicep curls
- Overhead triceps extension
- Shoulder press
- Standing shoulder row
<>
My Sorcha laid down for a nap and evidently needed it. She didn’t come back online for chat.
<>
Not a horrible shift @ work. Stayed in layout and drill.
<>
Last check on all fur-kids; Socks finally came home. With all the hub-bub and tree-trimming, I figured he’d stay away until the getting was good.
<>
GOTTA shower since I didn’t have hot water this morning.

Die Wurtâ, all three, are present at birth
To weave our Fate from merriment to dearth.
Urda, Werdanda and Sculd, the dark queens renowned;
Glorious ladies ‘neath the Tree, work your mysteries in us now.
That which “was” we can clearly see.
That which “is becoming” forms now in our deeds.
That which “is owed”, may be, but we cannot see.
We celebrate die Wurtâ, the Ladies Three, for all eternity.
