I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.
*no doubt the ones who brought the family over from Europe.
*offered up some tobacco for Granny Aggie.

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price

A tenth one I sing, when dangers at sea forces me
To protect my ship from the stormy waves;
The storm I calm down, no matter how billowing the sea,
And I cradle the waves to sleep.

I was in search of good books on Norse Mythology via this link: https://norse-mythology.org/the-10-best-norse-mythology-books/  I had all of them but two.  One interested me right off; “Saga of the Volsungs.”  I found an inexpensive copy on Amazon.  Another one, “Myth and Religion of the North: The Religion of Ancient Scandinavia” by E.O.G. Turville-Petre.  Not readily available on the internet unless I wanted to pay $140; um, no!  What I did find was a site that had a text only link, and only available on that site, not downloadable or on PDF.  I used that site to copy/paste from their site onto a Word file.  I increased the font and made it very legible.  A $140 book placed in my keeping for free.  I’m not saying I’ll read it any time soon, but it was an amazing find.

Note to Self: Toby’s 11:45am feeding and insulin.
<>
Toby out for a 2-block, trust training walk.
*sparsely cloudy, mild, slight north breeze.
<>
Took some potting soil to covered up the exposed grass seed in the back yard.
<>
Load of laundry
<>
Wifey made some artichoke dip and shared some with me.
<>
Over to the Jarl and Jarlskonna of Wichita Hammerstorm.  He had some WONDERFUL Hammerstorm conversation.  Took Toby with me as they had some hambones for him.
<>
To Dillons for a bell pepper; seriously, ONE bell pepper.
<>
OMGs!  Oven baked chicken sriracha bräts with onions and sweet peppers with lightly fried diced potato, FUCKING “A” GOOD!  It’s MUCH better than yesterday’s casserole.
<>
2-hours of Ghost Whisperer on Start TV (OTA)
<>
Out for a 30min, late evening walk.  I certainly am enjoying these.
*beautifully cool!
<>
WHAT?  No online chat today????????????????
<>
Ya know, there is no need to watch news anymore.  Everything is COVID-19 this or COVID-19 that.  There’s also no need to watch late night talk shows.  They are simply not good without a live studio audience due to COVID-19.
<>
Oh, that’s right, no Dark Shadows tonight.
<>
Note to Self; Toby’s 11:30pm feeding and insulin.
<>
Last check on all fur-kids.
<>
Midnight nighty night.

God/dess Meditation: Saturday, Saturn’s Day, Tag der Fruchtbarkeit (UPG), Frouwa & Ing-Frô:
Frouwa, most lovely of all goddesses; who could not love you?  Women as their own inner glory and highest attainment as the self-made woman, men for your beauty, passion and strength. Praise to you for the gift of life, and for the love that makes life worth living. Remind us always that it is the strong who love the best and the most, and that only the mighty can truly be gentle. Fill our lives with passion and lust that we may live our lives to the fullest. WE GIVE YOU MOST A HEART-FELT HEIL, FROUWA, as we honor the Frouwa that resides in us all!

Ing-Frô, you’re the Great God of Fridu (all-encompassing safety and protection), Ar (peace, good seasons), the good harvest and prosperity: you are indeed the god of this World. When the day to day wears us down remind us of pleasures and joys. Help us recall the wonderful excesses that brought our lives into being and which sustain the human spirit during good times and bad. Without you, there would be no life and certainly little delight. Thank you, Ing-Frô, for the rushing life spirit and the eternal play of passions that make our lives fruitful.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, ING-FRÔ, as we honor the Ing-Frô that resides in all of us!
