*Duke Rollo successfully defends Paris and crushes Ragnar’s forces. There is a magnificent battle between Rollo and Ragnar with Rollo the victor as he returns to Paris to a hero’s welcome. Ragnar is still alive, but greatly weakened. Then I got lost in this HUGE, several year jump in time. Ragnar disappears. The longhouse at Kattegat looks difference. Besides Bjorn, I didn’t recognize Ragnar’s now teenage sons. When Ragnar suddenly shows up back at Kattegat it all made sense. EXCELLENT…
