Because of all the tricks and pranks, why not call it Loki’s Day?  Oh, I guess there are those who consider Saturday as Loki’s Day.  I just have a problem with giving Loki that much recognition.

Not gonna happen.  I already have Tag der Fruchtbarkeit (UPG) for Saturday.  SO, HAPPY LOKI’S DAY!

I honor you this day, and I honor every bit of you that resides in me.  I’m grateful for the strong German heritage you’ve provided. I look forward with eager anticipation to the great family reunion on the other side.  I offer you my undying love, honor, respect, and gratitude.

A thirteenth I mention, when I sprinkle the son,

The young one, with holy water,
If once he faces the foe, then he cannot fall,
No sword can wound him so he collapses in the dust.

Rune Lesson: There are SO MANY WAYS this lesson can go.  IMO, trust is the best and most basic thing in life.  That trust can often times turn into a blessing of sorts; even though, we Heathens are careful to acknowledge blessings.  Trust in any relationship can shield us most wrongs from others.

1st check on all fur-kids: food, water, litterboxes, shelter.

Toby had absolutely ZERO in his energy tank today for his walk.  It took him 30min to do a 1-block roundy.  Once I got him home, I went out for my own 30min walk.
*mostly cloudy, mild, hela stout south wind
*I promised him no matter how bad his eyesight got, I’ll still take care of him.
<>
Note to Self: Once I saw Toby eating yesterday’s food, I quickly loaded a syringe to give him his 1pm insulin.  Thank you, Air Capital Veterinary, for giving me insight where else to give him his injection so it didn’t hurt him.  He didn’t yelp a bit today.

Last of the leftover Southern Hamburger Steak + a baked potato + ¼ head of steamed cabbage.

<>
Last of the Mom’s Memory Sandwich Spread on open-faced whole wheat bread + the last of the jalapeño corn chips + an apple.

God/dess Meditation: Wednesday, Wodan’s Day Wodan;
Alle-Vater Gott!  Wandering god!  Rune god! Wolf god! Raven god! Wodan!! Husband to Frija, the Alle-Mutter.  Son to Paru and Bezzia, brother to Willo and Wîh; We call out to you, not as slaves or on bended knee, but on our feet and open-armed as befits your offspring. Watch us as we struggle, but the fight and fame must both be ours! Grant us that victory which we win by OUR might and mane! After a life battle-worn, Wodan, grant us access to our Great Ancestral Hall, where we may feast, drink the glorious mead and be merry with our heroes and our Altmâgâ. WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, Wodan, as we honor the Wodan that resides in us all!
