September/Skeidentimond 27, 2014 Saturn’s Day/Day of Fertility/Tag der Fruchtbarkeit

(Skeidentimond = Summer’s End Month)

I’m not sure when I let Toby out to potty, but he woke me up @ 3AM via
barking to let me know he wanted in.  It seems that sleep wasn’t forthcoming
until Essie crawled up my side and laid across my shoulder for loving.  I slept
two more hours.

Plans: GPRF

AM Meditation: Saturn’s Day/Saturday/Tag der Fruchtbarkeit, we meditate on Frouwa and Ing-Frô :
Frouwa, most lovely of all goddesses; who could not love you?  Women as their own inner glory and highest attainment as the self-made woman, men for your beauty, passion and strength. Praise to you for the gift of life, and for the love that makes life worth living. Remind us always that it is the strong who love the best and the most, and that only the mighty can truly be gentle. Fill our lives with passion and lust that we may live our lives to the fullest. WE GIVE YOU MOST A HEART-FELT HEIL, FROUWA, as we honor the Frouwa that resides in us all!

Ing-Frô , you’re the Great God of Fridu (all-encompassing safety and protection), Ar (peace, good seasons), the good harvest and prosperity: you are indeed the god of this World. When the day to day wears us down remind us of pleasures and joys. Help us recall the wonderful excesses that brought our lives into being and which sustain the human spirit during good times and bad. Without you, there would be no life and
certainly little delight. Thank you, Ing-Frô, for the rushing life spirit and the eternal play of passions that make our lives fruitful.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, ING-FRÔ, as we honor the Ing-Frô that resides in all of us!

Elder Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Elder Runes in your way
Advise the mortal man today

Picture
AM Elder Rune:
Fehu (R): The negative blessing of prosperity, lack of creative energies, productivity failure, and the inability to and/or create wealth, greed, disconnected from the life source, fear of failure, an ending, an
unfortunate condition, fiery powers extinguished, lack of self-esteem, an
ineffective beginning and an irresponsible misuse of power.

Armanen Rune Summons:
Born of fire, born of ice
Life is lived at such a price
Armanen Runes in your way
Advise the Spirit man today

AM Armanen Rune: Man:
Havamal 159.
A fourteenth know Volkrast, the dwarf,
Sings early at the gates of dawn,
To strengthen the Aesir, to empower the Alves,
But to myself, Allfather, to gain wisdom.

Great gain, male mysteries, male leadership, pulling down the spiritual into material form, human/humanity, increase, masculinity, health, plenty, magic, spirit, truth, God-Man, male principle in Cosmos, birth, health, increase, maleness and man, Divine man, male principle in Cosmos, magic power, thaumaturgy, true self, the resurrected god, the upper part of the world tree, Irminsul, Rune of spiritual powers, of directing Manna powers; the sacred Rune of humankind encouraging us to be human.

Interpretation: let me give this one some thought.

Outcome: 1st breakfast; ham, egg and cheese burrito, w/ salsa

A rather problematic Toby on his 1-mile walk.
*then, Essie on her trailing tether in the backyard, with more freedom distance than I have ever given her.  I set up an easy chair in the middle of the back yard so I could keep an eye on her.  I love it when she scampers.

Completed paperwork from US bank for refinancing…took it to a UPS drop-off site.

Filled out RTAA for today’s post.

PM Meditation: Saga, you’re the goddess of history; part and parcel of our ever expanding past.  As we share in Minnatranc, whisper to our hearts of the stories about our gods, our ancestors, our heroes and their glories.  Be the resource for our memories should we ever forget from whence we come.  Gently remind us that we all have a rich history from which to pull.  For it is as we remember and respect the past can we deal with our present, knowing that we will some day have to deal with our spiritual debt.  We honor you, Saga, as a repository for the basis of all that we are, all that we are coming to be, and all that our offspring will inherit from us.  WE GIVE YOU A MOST HEART-FELT HEIL, SAGA, as we honor the Saga that resides in us all.

PM Clarification Rune: none
